Yes of course I love The Red Shoes movie, it is a magical dancing story and in my turn I invite you to read the “One thousand and one nights” the arabian-persian fairy tales which never end with lot of imagination.
BTW. Arab sciences were the first to start what we call Alchemy due to their aim of finding the way to change the iron into gold and to make the carpet fly LOL!

Amani’s video clip posted above, as well as her comment, demonstrates how cultivated and widely read artists truly are–and how else would they convey the truth and beauty of a culture? I love her reference to The Red Shoes (movie and Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale) when she puts on the belt before dancing!

Amani mentions the Oriental “Andalusian” writer–in this she refers to a true Golden Age of spreading influence seen in Al Andalus, otherwise known as Moorish Spain, where tolerance reigned supreme and women’s influence in the arts and scholarship have never been paralleled again.
